Microsoft's Tag project is out of beta. Microsoft created the Tag project to put some color and offer an alternative to QR Codes. Microsoft Tag allows users to create their own Tags and use the Tag Reader to read Tags anywhere. The new update will now read colour black and white tags as well as custom made business tags.

(If you scan it correctly it will show text only. The app will connect to the internet to retrieve data)
I just used the app on my Nokia and it is faster than before. The app still has the traditional crosshairs. It also a new "location" setting. I still do not what that does. May be new geo-location tags?
