WordPress 3.0 is Out!

As many f you have noticed this morning, WordPress 3.0 has been finally and officially released for public download. The first thing I did â€" backed up my current database and started with the upgrade, which took quite fast.
What do I see so far?

Slight changes in the design of the dashboard interface, these are not drastic enough changes to make a whole new version of WordPress, yet annoying enough because things are not â€œlike they used to beâ€� anymore.

Important Highlights, other than that?

New default theme â€œTwenty Tenâ€� takes full advantage of the current features of WordPress.
New custom menu management feature, allows creation of custom menus combining posts, pages, categories, tags, and links for use in theme menus or widgets.
Custom header and background APIs.
Bulk updating of themes with an automatic maintenance mode during the process.
Support for shortlinks.
Improved Custom post types and custom taxonomies including hierarchical (category-style) support. (Try the Custom Post Type UI or GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools plugins to see the possibilities.)
A lighter admin color scheme to increase accessibility and put the focus more squarely on your content.

For Designers, (other than suddenly becoming incompatible with your theme )

Allow themes to style the visual editor with editor-style.css file.
Shortlinks enabled, but still requires a plugin or theme support to fully realize this feature.
