The second of three UK Leader's debates will be in HD on Sky News HD channel 517.The first Leader's debate will be in High Definition on ITV1 HD in England and Wales.
This will give viewers a sneak peek of what is to come when the full launch occurs later this year. Sky News will become the 1st ever European HD news channel. Sky has indicated that Nickelodeon and Travel Channel UK may become HD in future.

Sky News HD will be available on Sky Digital for viewers who subscribe to the HD Pack.

Sky news is promoting the new HD Channel with the largest ad campagin ever. Click here to check out more info. The channel will have all new graphics and use the full 16:9 resolution of the tv. It may be broadcast in 1080i but that is unconfirmed at the moment. Check back here for more updates when the channel launches on April 22.
